£400m Government Funding for Carers Breaks

FinanceThe Government has made £400 million available to Primary Care Trusts to spend on Carers Breaks as part of their Strategy  for Carers.

 

Publishing Carers Breaks Schemes 

The money isn't ring fenced so it's important that the money does get spent on Carers Breaks. We support the Give Carers a Break campaign being run jointly by the charities The Princess Royal Trust for Carers and Crossroads Care to encourage Primary Care Trusts to publish their plans to run their Carers Breaks’ schemes.
