Description of Round England Bus Tour from Walsall

Members’ Trip – Round Trip

Concessionary Travel Club Champion Richard Worrall, made this amazing solo bus tour round England setting off from Walsall in a clockwise direction and arriving back in Walsall some 11 days later. There wasn’t much time for sightseeing but the trip raised a staggering £4,500 for Charity.

Richard covered some 1500 miles and used 80 local buses to complete the tour. At the end of day 5 he had reached Lowestoft, before returning back to Walsall via Maidstone, Steyning, Exeter, Newquay and Hereford.

The five main Charities that benefited from the trip were The African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust, The Anthony Nolan Trust, The Gwalior Children’s Hospital Charity, The Midland International Aid Trust and the Walsall branch of the National Pensioners Convention.

Congratulations Richard - a marathon effort in a good cause.
